The COM DPW is completing a Road Pavement Rehabilitation Project for Lower Honoapiʻilani Road for the section between Honoapiʻilani Highway and Hoʻohui Road. This project is scheduled for completion in 2026. The project seeks to address deficiencies in the Lower Honoapi‘ilani Road corridor by:

• Resurfacing the pavement,
• Replacing the pavement striping and speed tables,
• Replacing signs and damaged guardrails.

The project also seeks to ensure compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act standards by reconstructing non-compliant curb ramps and sidewalks.
