I disapprove of this whole project. Why are we submitting this project proposal for?. For a new sub division? How would that impact this proposal for traffic?
Traffic lights at Eha Street to control traffic diverting to Eha Street causing increased traffic noise.

Suggestion
If it has to be done, then Alternative 2 seems like the best plan to minimize the traffic noise increase going up and down Eha Street. We live on Eha Street at Iao Parkside and already have heavy traffic from tractor trailer trucks going up and down Eha Street. They put speed bumps on Eha Street but it hasn’t affected the speeding vehicles, it only contributed to more noise from the vehicles slowing down and stepping on the gas, before and after the speed bumps. If they are going to connect Kahekili Highway to Imi Kala Road, please make sure that they connect Mill Street to Main Street to alleviate some of the traffic that will all be going down Eha Street, also add traffic lights to the Ima Kala intersections to hopefully stagger the traffic and minimize the cars on Eha Street. Thank you for your consideration on this issue.

For all proposals, use of Piihana Road should be restricted for through traffic.

This is a clean straightforward approach to moving vehicles without impacting other neighborhoods. Traffic lights or roundabouts at Mill Street and Waiale Road I presume?

Question
Alternative 2 is also in question. If I were to come from Waiehu/Waihee to go work in Wailuku, I still going through Wailuku Town/Happy Valley and not take the route towards Millstreet, Lower Main. The roundabout doesn't seem necessary. And also, is I was to go Kahului, I would take the Lower Beach Road. If you were coming from Wailuku Town/Happy Valley, it wouldn't make sense to go in the direction of imi loa bridge if using the piihana road which is narrow or the road from the roundabout. Why would they find interest to that way to begin with? Just a question we should be asking ourselves the purpose and intentions of this route.

Question
Concern on extension of Vineyard St. into Imi Kala extension. East end of Vineyard below Mission St. is a narrow lane for traffic.
